Starting at a very young age, Darren Nicholson spent the last 17 years learning and applying "hands on" to his acquired experience. He tried to improve the performance of any engine he could get his hands on.

In 1987 he joined one of the local Jaguar dealers and spent the next 7 years receiving Factory Training, earning the certification from the Jaguar Certified Tech Guild as a Jaguar Master Technician.
In his true competitive nature, he went on to excel in his Factory Training Tests and was awarded a trip to the Jaguar Factory in England as a reward for his efforts.

In 1998 he decided that the level of service that Jaguar owners were receiving at the Dealer, could be greatly improved. He realized that a lot was being lost in the translation from the service advisor, to the shop foreman, and ultimately to the Technician actually working on the car. He knew that if he could deal with the customers directly, he could provide a much better solution by eliminating the "middlemen". Darren has been offering, for the last four years, the excellent level of service he envisioned, at his own British Performance Independent Jaguar Service Center.
