AAATCo Transmissions located in Costa Mesa, California, is your local area transmission specialist. We've been in business since 1963, and owner Bob Ellis is an experienced automotive technician, having been in the automotive field since 1975. Your car's transmission, the second major assembly of its power plant, can operate trouble-free for many years of dependable service. But when trouble does arise, even a minor problem can seriously impact your car's driveability and dependability.

Today's automatic transmissions are complex, computer-controlled pieces of high-tech hardware, and require knowledgeable technicians to properly diagnose, service and repair them.

AAATCo Transmissions also maintains the highest level of ethical practice in the industry, being members of the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA), and the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). These credentials are in place to insure fair and consistent business practices for our customers, and to maintain our high standards of business ethics.

We specialize in domestic, asian and european vehicles, SUVs, light trucks, motorhomes, and even high-performance applications. Our facility has a six-bay transmission shop. We specialize in the repair and overhaul of automatic and standard transmissions as well as transaxle, differential and clutch service.
